Is Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit Worth The Hype? What Stopped Me From Buying It

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard by now that Kylie Jenner came out with her very own Lip Kit. It's the product that everybody can't stop talking about, and the product that sold in under a minute. Nowadays, people everywhere want lips as full as Kylie. They're starting to look like Kevin from Spongebob, when he got stung by a jellyfish.

Hearing all the buzz around her lip kits made me want to go out and buy her lip kits. After all treat yo'self right?

 
While it was waiting for her kits to go for sale, there was one thing that stopped me. According to a lot of people, and what seems to be true by now, is that Kylie's Lip Kits are just Colourpop's lipsticks rebranded. I first heard about it on Twitter and even screenshot the tweets, to do a little more research. Shout out to NikkieTutorials for watching our backs. Pretty soon it was every where that Kylie's Lip Kits were just Colourpop, what a bummer for her customers. Especially those who are trying to sell it for $10,000 (yes $10,000) on eBay. 

Colourpop's specific lipsticks are Clueless, Beeper and Limbo. The Colourpop lipstick only sells for $6! Here is a side-by-side photo of both brands and notice how the similarity is uncanny. 

It's honestly depressing to see how some people spent $90 or more on products that could've been bought for $18. Whether or not her products are just Colourpop rebranded it still hasn't been confirmed, but I think we can all agree it's pretty obvious. I feel just because Kylie's name was written on these products, people thought they would get lips as big as hers. If she admitted to getting lip fillers (there's nothing wrong with that), then I think you'd also have to get lip fillers to get lips like her's. Yes, makeup can make your lips look fuller, they won't actually be fuller. Does that make sense? I have no hate towards Kylie, but she can do so much better than this. So many people look up to her and it's shame that this incident happened, I thought it would've been exciting to see her lips kits. Anyhow, she said she will be coming out with more products and I can't to see what she has in store next. 

Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara Review!

Is your mascara better than sex?

Finding just the right mascara is hard to do. Especially one that doesn't clutter and lasts long. Recently, I was given the opportunity to review the one mascara that does that!! I absolutely love this product!! I have used MANY different mascaras, constantly trying the new thing, but this is the best mascara I have ever worn. It makes your lashes thick, dark and so long with one coat. The formula is wet but not tacky wet and not overly dry. Another thing I loved about it was after it was dry it didn't harden or smudge.

The wand has a hourglass tip that's perfect for giving your lashes the best curls. This mascara only comes in black and it goes for $23. Plus you get a travel size one as a bonus!!

 Who needs false lashes when you have this mascara. I am absolutely in love with the length and volume that it provides. I will definitely get more as soon as I run out! This is a must have product and I can't leave home without it. One coat is all you need but the max would be three because anything more than that will clutter your lashes.

Parnevu Shampoo Review

So for the past couple of weeks I have been using these PARNEVU products. Here is what they look like.

First, I will start off by reviewing the Parnevu Extra Dry Salon Shampoo:

What I loved about this shampoo was that within the first wash you could feel a difference with your hair. It made my hair feel very soft and fresh. This shampoo is perfect for someone with dry and damaged hair. If you're looking for fast results, I guarantee you will be impressed with this shampoo . I liked that it didn't have a powerful smell. It smelled like flowers which isn't a bad at all. I really felt like it helped my hair.

Now for the Extra Dry Scalp Therapy Leave-In-Conditioner

The leave-in-conditioner was great too. You only need to put a small amount of conditioner in the palm of your hand massage and it onto your hair. This really helped tame my frizzy hair, and I noticed my split ends weren't as bad as they were from before. I also noticed it didn't dry up my hair, and my scalp looked moisturized. If your hair is anything like mine, which means your dry scalp is noticeable, this can help you with your problem (and mine too). When I first used this product, I didn't realize it was a leave in condioner, so I used it as just a conditioner, meaning I washed it out in the shower, but it can used either way. You can decide whether or not to wash it out.

And Lastly, the Oil Replenisher

This product was a lot thicker than I thought it would be. Which means the thicker the product, the less of it you put on your hair. So I put a dime size drop on the palm of my hair and massaged it all over my hair. I was a little disappointed (not completely) with this product because it made my hair feel heavy and look lumpy. My hair looked and felt oily. I suggest, if you have completely dry hair then you should use this product otherwise I would stick with the leave in conditioner. What surprised me about this product was that it prevent heat damage so that was pretty convenient. This product is a combination of many different oils so it can benefit your hair in more than one way. It was a little sticky but once I washed it out of my hair, my hair was shiny and softer. 

Overall, I really liked Parnevu's products. They give fast results, add shine to your hair and they stick to their word. If you are in desperate need of rejuvenating you I would recommend their products. Hope it impresses you all as it did for me.

Another Studio Gear Review: Hydrating CC Cream

The Studio Gear Cosmetic that I am going to reviewing today is the Hydrating CC Color Correcting Cream!

 

I got this is linen which looks like the lightest shade it can come in. What I loved about this product is that it blends in very well with my skin. When you first put the cream it comes out white then it turns to the shade you bought it in. It glides right on your face. It doesn't make it look cakey. Very smooth and easy to use. It also Brightens and illuminates skin with a non-oily complexion,& complete coverage application. It also has SP 20 so it protects your skin from the sun. I definitely recommend you try it! I give it four out of five stars.

I guess the only thing you might not like about it is the price. It is 34$ on Studio Gear Cosmetics.

• Studio Gear Eyeliner (Black): This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. It glides right on my eye so smoothly. I usually have trouble finding one that doesn't smudge or that actually shows. This makes my eyes look really good. This eyeliner also lasts the whole day and is defiantly worth the money. I would give this eyeliner five out of five stars.

I used my finger while applying this product since a brush would have ruined it and caked it on face. When I apply this product it does not look messy or caked on. It makes my face look really natural. It also doesn't make my face look clown like since thats what most colors come in. This product is so smooth and I recommend it to everyone. I give it five out of five stars.
