Beginner's Iggy Azalea Black Widow Makeup Tutorial

If you keep up with the hottest music, you know that Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora slayed the charts with their single "Black Widow". Other than the song itself, I think we can all agree both ladies looked hot in the music video. However, what caught my attention was Iggy's makeup. There's no denying I wanted to steal her look, be as fancy as her!

The products you'll need in this tutorial are:
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Eyeshadow
  • Eyeshadow base (optional)
  • Moisturizer/Lotion (Optional)
  • And of course, the boldest red lipstick you can find.
Now I'm gonna start off with her flawless face look. The first thing you wanna do is apply moisturizer/lotion to your face. This is optional, but it's also very important, because you don't want your makeup to dry out your skin or cause break outs. So even though it's optional, it's still very important. Once you've let it set, apply your foundation closest to your skin tone and make sure you let it blend all the way down your neck so avoid a foundation line. When applying it, forget your finger and use a foundation brush for an evener tone. Also, use the back of your hand as a palette for picking up just enough foundation on the brush to complete an area, while also building coverage. Now that you've got your foundation on, it's time to put the concealer. If you have breakouts that you want to cover up, I suggest using the concealer first, but to highlight your face like Iggy's, apply it afterwards. Apply the concealer on any dark spots and especially around your eyes. Don't forget to Blend a little concealer on the bridge of your nose and through your t-zone for added definition! Iggy also seems to be wearing a bit of bronzer so just apply some starting from your cheekbones, down to your mouth. To know when to stop, put two fingers at the side of your mouth and that's how much space to leave. Blend it in evenly. To complete your flawless finish, dust on some powder with a large powder brush.
Now that you've gotten your even skin tone, it's time for the eyes. A good tip to not let your eyeshadow crease, make sure you put on a base or an eyeshadow primer to keep it in place. Now add 2 layers of white eyeshadow all over your eyelid to give your eyes a little pop. In the circles of your crease, and on your lower lids, use an eyeshadow that's slightly darker, and closer to your skin tone. This will widen your eyes, matching your eye shape to Iggy's. Blend it all out with a beige-ish light color. Next is the eyeliner, and it might not show in the picture, but she does have a little wing, so just do a little flick of eyeliner. If you can't wing your eyeliner, I attached a photo that should help you. Make sure to keep your pinky against your cheek for a perfect, straight line. Once you're done with that, apply your mascara. Make sure to put about 2 coats for a fuller look.

The last thing to do is your lips. Line your lips, if you fuller lips like her's, line as little outside your natural lips, but not too much. Fill in your lips with your fire engine lipstick and viola! This is a great and simple tutorial, especially if you're going as Iggy for Halloween!
