Every girl wants a hair machine that will do all the work for her.
The Kiss Instawave curler is a little larger than other curlers. Where you hold on to is a lot longer than the actual barrel. It has 4 prongs going around the middle of the curler. There is one wider prong that is pushed in closer than the other ones. It does not have any specific temperatures, just high and low. It has a left and right arrow that you press to choose what direction you want your curls to go into. The wire is pretty short but does not get in the way. Also, after you turn it on you have to wait until the red light turns blue which means it's ready.
I'm going to start off by listing the pros of The Kiss Instawave Curler.
It can create all types of curls depending on how long you keep your hair wrapped around it. 10 seconds can give you tight curls while 3 seconds can give you nice soft waves. You put your hair behind the wider prong starting at the top of your hair then you press an arrow. The machine starts twisting your hair and you hold it for as long as you want. After that, you just pull the machine down and you have your curl! It is that simple! If you feel like its grabbing too much or tangling it, you can always reverse it! For me, it takes about 30 minutes to curl my entire hair with this machine! My go to hair spray when I finish is the Marc Anthony hairspray. This hair spray smells AMAZING and helps hold the curls for a long time!
The cons of the Kiss Instawave Curler:
Even though this machine can make gorgeous curls, unfortunately there are a few downsides to it. When you're curling your hair by yourself with this, its pretty hard to see whether its grabbing your hair from the back or not. It's also hard to make sure its not grabbing any extra hair! Another con is the size of the barrel. People say that if you don't like pressing the button and having it automatically curl it, you can always wrap your hair around the barrel. Well, I don't think this is a good idea because not only is the barrel too short, but the prongs get in the way, which I wish were removable. It also has a tiny sound to it.
Anyway, I believe that it's better to have someone curl your hair for you, that way they can get every piece of hair, and can be a lot easier for you. There are no problems with this machine when you are not using it on yourself. This machine DOES NOT rip out your hair unless your forcing it too. You can press the reverse button and the hair just falls out of the machine. The machine does get really hot so I suggest using a heat protect-ant! Above all, I do recommend this machine and give it a 8.5/10 .
