Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball Tutorial

Despite what she's doing in her music video, Miley Cyrus looked amazing in her "Wrecking Ball" Music Video. Her makeup was gorgeous and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who wanted to steal her look. So here's a quick step by step tutorial on how to do Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball Makeup.

What you'll need:

1. Any dewy moisturizer/concealer or foundation: New York Color has amazing concealer and foundations for only $1.99-$4.99 (Review coming up)
2. Red Long wear Lipstick: Motives Cosmetics Lipstick and Lip shine
3. Eyelash Curler: A must for this wide-eyed lash look
4. Any lengthening mascara: Studio Gear Mascara & Eyeliner
5. Light Pink Blush: Motives Cosmetic Blush

Alternative: Long Strip Fake Lashes: I prefer Motives Cosmetics False Eyelashes (to read the review for the false eyelashes click here)

First, cleanse your face with a makeup remover to help get rid of unwanted dirt, and to help get a fresh look. Add the moisturizer or the concealer to hide any unwanted blemishes. A foundation will also work. Also, choose a shade that brightens and evens out your skin tone.

You'll notice in the music video that Miley also has very light blush added to the top of her cheeks to give herself that flushed looked. So now would be a good time to apply the blush. The blush I preferred to use was from Motives Cosmetics. The link will lead you to Motives' blushes. They have many different shades so almost anyone can find their perfect blush.

***If you don't prefer powder blush Studio Gear Cosmetics has many different types of blushes such as gel blushes, creme to powder, etc****

The next step are your eyes. Curl your eyelashes first.  Apply the lengthening mascara. You can also add light eyeliner on the top lid of your eyes if you feel the need to add something more to your eyes. The eyeliner and mascara that I used were from Studio Gear. Click here if you wanna read the review for the eyeliner and mascara.

TIP: Use a (plastic) spoon to help make your mascara come out smooth and not clumpy. This is a great trick to try and will help even out your mascara.

Lastly, Miley's lips in her music video were very smooth and bold, so I chose to use Motives for La La Mineral Lipstick.  It works beautifully with Motives for La La Mineral Lip Shine. The colors I used were Manhattan and Big Apple. After applying the lipstick, add the lip shine (as much as you want) and bled them together.
